As easy as it can be

Besides language documents that you can find all about below, German universities only require you to send proof of having a secondary school leaving certificate and a couple of other general documents that you can find all about in close to no time. So, there is no need to stress about your high school grades or getting a certain percentage in the secondary school final exam.

German Language

Most universities in Germany, as listed in our universities page, ask for a C1 level of proficiency in the German language, most of them accepting B2 at the time of enrollment with the requirement of obtaining a C1 certificate in the following months. Some universities will accept only B2 level, but some might even require C2, so be sure to check what is the case for you and prepare accordingly.

Not many German universities have undergraduate courses in English, but those that do generally require you to meet a level of B2 - C1 in English. The usual English certificates such as TOEFL, IELTS and Cambridge are recognized by most German universities and you can find in our universities page the exact score or grade that you need to get in order to be accepted.
