French Universities' requirements

SAT, ACT, IB & other baccalaureat equivalents
Taking at least one of these exams is mandatory if you are thinking of applying to a French University, and you can find all about the requirements of each one here. An important piece of information though is that since 2020, the SAT Subject Tests and Essay are not available anymore.

Toefl, IELTS & Cambridge
Since most of the majors are held in English, it is mandatory that you have at least one of these English exams attesting to your level.

Études en France
This is a platform similar to the Common App in the USA which will help you apply to multiple universities using only one application. However, you need to be careful and to check before submission to see if the university that you are applying to accepts this type of application.

Extracurriculars
Having varied and unique extracurricular activities is a must. Everything from taking up sports such as horse riding, to taking part in school clubs or even founding your own are definitely some activities that will majorly improve your application. They will help you demonstrate your determination and how willing you are to show initiative.
