SAT, ACT, IB & other baccalaureat equivalents
To get into a Canadian university, you will need to possess at least one of the diplomas mentioned above. Since 2020, because of the pandemic, SAT Subject Tests and Essay are not available anymore, and some universities do not even require taking the exam at all, however, we strongly advise you to take it.
02
TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge
Most of the Canadian universities' majors are thought in English so having a diploma attesting to your level is needed.
03
No Common App equivalents!
Generally, when applying to universities in Canada, you will have to apply to each university individually. There might be some exceptions such as the Ontario Universities Application Center (OUAC), where it is possible for you to apply to multiple universities using only one application.
04
Extracurriculars
Extracurriculars are some things that tell students apart, that gives you the chance to stand out, by taking up as many unique activities. Some good examples would be taking up a sport such as tennis or water polo, founding a club, or even attending MUN conferences.
